Official Website of BEM Universitas Jenderal Soedirman

The Official Website of BEM Unsoed is the primary information and publication portal platform for the Student Executive Board of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. This platform is designed to make it easier for students to access information about organizational activities, advocacy services, and various latest student news.

🚀 Key Technologies

The development of this digital ecosystem and website relies on a combination of flexible tools for campus-scale content management:

CMS: WordPress
Page Builder: Elementor
Customization: Custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript injection

🎯 Role & Implementation

As part of the BEM Unsoed Web Development team, the development of this website focused on visual aesthetics, performance reliability, and ease of content management (CMS):

1. Design & Layouting (Elementor)

Utilizing the Elementor Page Builder feature to arrange responsive page layouts across various devices (desktop and mobile). All interface elements are designed to align with the visual identity (branding) guidelines of the incumbent BEM Unsoed cabinet.

2. Advanced Customization (HTML Inject)

To present unique visual elements and functionalities not natively supported by standard Elementor widgets, I applied HTML Inject techniques and wrote custom CSS/JS. This allowed the integration of animations, specific interactive components, and more complex data structures without burdening the website's memory performance.

3. Centralized Publication Ecosystem

The WordPress management system is optimized so that all ministries within BEM-U can publish press releases, studies, and content requests in a structured manner, seamlessly connected with other digital initiatives (such as the BEM URL Shortener).

📋 Impact & Achievements

✅ Built a user-friendly and always up-to-date communication portal to support the student movement.
✅ Implemented dynamic designs through Elementor, enhanced by HTML Inject for advanced layouting.
✅ Increased audience engagement by presenting information in a more organized and professional manner.
